Patterns & Abstractions takes a close-up look at manmade objects and those found in nature, including aerial views so high they become abstractions. This series deals with the details of objects and their intricacies.
Taking pictures of people and the places I’ve explored helps me make better sense of the world around me. Since 2008, I’ve been collecting personal image collections for my own entertainment. I’m fascinated with capturing moments in time, stylizing them, and letting the feelings that come up form their own narrative. Some of my work signifies or represents larger ideas contained in a certain series for context.
