Moments
Collection Overview
Moments features photographs around my point of view, a movement of time, a cause and effect, experiencing a liminal space, or dealing with the uncanny. Each series of this collection cannot be truly defined with any certainty, except that each existed in time and space if only for a moment in time. Many of the series here are similar to my Symbolic Reference collection, focused moreso on the uncanny and hidden meanings beneath the surface.
Taking pictures of people and the places I’ve explored helps me make better sense of the world around me. Since 2008, I’ve been collecting personal image collections for my own entertainment. I’m fascinated with capturing moments in time, stylizing them, and letting the feelings that come up form their own narrative. Some of my work signifies or represents larger ideas contained in a certain series for context.
