Portrait photography overview
I specialize in portrait photography for those seeking to expand their audience and make a lasting impression. I don’t take snapshots. I use hand-crafted action plans to create promotional portraits based on your objectives.
Sometimes that studio look with a makeup artist is what works best, other times working on-location is more appropriate. When working on a portrait, I focus on the psychological aspects each person brings to the table. Personal ambition, sense of humor, and culture are good examples of this. Your individual needs and desires are unique and it’s for this very reason I guide you through a “portrait questionnaire” so we’re on the same page.
Portrait photography may be the foundation of my work but it’s my retouching experience that gives what I do heightened significance. Since 2008 I’ve worked with hundreds of people and documented thousands of locations both professionally and for my own amusement. I’ve also been using Adobe Photoshop for over 10 years. It’s my goal to create promotional portraits that are surrealistic and stylized rather than just something straightforward you can get taken anywhere else.

What's included
- Unlimited outfits & locations
Dress in however many outfits you want and drive to as many locations as time allows. The more variety the better!
- Editing included for all selections
Color correction and exposure adjustments are included. I also remove acne, blemishes, harsh shadows, and other distracting elements.
- High-res images included
High-resolution jpeg image files are yours to keep. I typically deliver my selections (generally 25+ images for every hour) of the best images within 48 hours.
- Online print services
While you can always download your high res jpeg files and print yourself, I work with professional print studios and offer online orders with direct shipping.

How it works
Rather than charge for typical packages, I charge a flat rate for every hour we work together on-site. After we work together I get started (typically by the next day) editing and selecting your best images and sharing them for you in an online gallery.
Download high-resolution JPEGs or order prints / canvas online directly and have them shipped to your address. You can select wallets, a 4×6 print, 8×10, 20×20, and more. View my print pricing for more details.
- Step 1: Phone call to review what’s needed (5 to 10 mins)
- Step 2: We’ll meet at the agreed location to start
- Step 3: After the final payment is made, selected edited & retouched images will be shared in a private gallery, typically within 48 hours
- An additional round of editing for fine-tuning adjustments or creative tones (sepia, black & white, etc.) is available upon request
- You can download your high-res jpeg files or order prints online for one calendar year guaranteed
