Degeneration of Youth is a series that I primarily worked on for several years between 2007 and 2013 but may still revisit. During this time, my fascination with the darker side of human emotions grew, particularly with regards to passion, lust and addiction. I was interested in exploring the ways in which these emotions can lead us down destructive paths, and how they can ultimately contribute to our own personal degeneration. Ultimately, my goal with this series was to create a body of work that was both beautiful and unsettling.
