Time has escaped. This was taken in 2014… Tonight I’m putting things together.
Money is what keeps me going and money is what slows me down.
I’m excited with the format I just put together for my website, since I want it to mirror the values and practices I use. The key is to do something every day so it forms a habit, like posting once a week with a story (and images) … in that order … with video of course. We’re at the point where certain things are required, like video. Posting regulalry and maintaining a habit like documenting all of your paperwork through a checklist to finish, is key. It’s nothing though, without a purpose.
Below are images I took while flying over Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor, MI. I went with friends Adam, Kevin, and Jen of course. The purpose for this shoot was to experiment with taking photos this high up. I wanted to define patterns that only appear at a great distance.
This one is one of my favorites, for the dreamlike quality of the sky and patterned, almost as if the land was stitched. This is the kind of photo I have to admit dreaming about doing again with video and high-resolution images. Taking both… is that possible? Answer: no, not without a delay anyways with buffer.
Now imaging this on a clear day. It’s been three years since I’ve been up. I think it’s about time I get back in the sky and nail some shots during golden hour.
After all the aesthetics, what does it convey to you?
You see it, so now what? Video… I’m craving more video soon.
My favorite shot from the day.
